October 30, 2017 - A San Francisco-based teaching platform recently announced its new initiative to bring computer science course work to rural Missouri students.
CodeHS is launching Code Missouri, an initiative to help close the computer science opportunity gap between urban and rural districts in Missouri. Coding is a foundational skill and all students should be able to take computer science courses at their local schools, regardless of their area code. CodeHS is providing full implementation, professional development, curriculum, and Pro accounts to 15 Missouri school districts for free for the next year.
